MACSQuant® VYB Flow Cytometer
Manufacturer: Miltenyi Biotec
SKU: 130-096-116
Description
The MACSQuant VYB Flow Cytometer is configured with a specific optical layout to optimize detection in applications involving fluorescent proteins and certain dye conjugates. It is equipped with three lasers: violet (405 nm), blue (488 nm), and yellow (561 nm). This combination is particularly effective for exciting common fluorescent protein reporters like GFP, CFP, and mCherry. The yellow laser provides optimal excitation for phycoerythrin (PE) and its tandem dyes, while also helping to minimize spectral overlap between FITC and PE signals, thereby reducing compensation requirements. The system can detect eight fluorescence parameters alongside forward and side scatter. Its compact benchtop design features an adjustable touch screen and occupies dimensions of 669 mm in width, 400 mm in depth, and a height adjustable between 394 and 553.5 mm. Software options are available to support compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 regulations for data integrity in controlled environments.
