MACSQuant® Analyzer 16 Flow Cytometer
Manufacturer: Miltenyi Biotec
SKU: 130-103-931
Description
The MACSQuant Analyzer 16 is a benchtop flow cytometer engineered to deliver standardized and automated analysis, with a particular focus on the stringent requirements of cell and gene therapy development. It features three solid-state lasers providing excitation at 405 nm (violet), 488 nm (blue), and 640 nm (red) wavelengths. The system can detect up to 14 fluorescence parameters in addition to forward and side scatter, with a maximum event rate of 15,000 events per second. A key operational principle is full workflow automation, encompassing sample handling, compensation, data acquisition, and analysis to enhance reproducibility. The instrument is designed to facilitate assay standardization across multiple sites, supporting reliable data comparison. For regulated environments, it offers a software module with features for electronic signatures, audit trails, and user management to aid compliance with 21 CFR Part 11 guidelines. The system can be integrated with specific cell manufacturing platforms, such as the CliniMACS Prodigy, for streamlined in-process and release testing.
