LysoView™ 680, 1000X in DMSO

Description

LysoView™ 680 is a near-infrared fluorescent probe for lysosomal staining in live-cell assays. With excitation and emission peaks reported at approximately 674 nm and 711 nm under acidic conditions, it is suitable for detection in channels typically reserved for Cy®5.5 or similar long-wavelength fluorophores. The product is formulated as a 1000X concentrate in DMSO, with a 50 µL fill volume per vial. The near-IR spectral characteristics of this dye offer significant benefits for deep-tissue imaging models and for reducing spectral overlap in complex multicolor panels. The probe's selective uptake into acidic organelles enables researchers to examine lysosomal morphology and function with minimal phototoxicity. This reagent is therefore applicable for advanced imaging techniques, including confocal microscopy and high-content screening, where long-wavelength emission contributes to improved signal-to-noise ratios.
