LysoView™ 640, 1000X in DMSO

Description

LysoView™ 640 is a far-red fluorescent dye developed for labeling lysosomes in living cells. Its spectral profile, with excitation and emission maxima around 640 nm and 671 nm under acidic conditions, aligns with optical configurations for the Cy®5 channel. The product is supplied as a 1000X stock solution in DMSO, with a total volume of 50 µL. The far-red emission wavelength of this probe is advantageous for reducing cellular autofluorescence and for multiplexing with fluorophores that emit in the green, yellow, and red regions of the spectrum. Like other members of the LysoView series, it is cell-permeant and localizes to acidic compartments, providing a non-disruptive method for imaging lysosomal structures. This makes it applicable for long-term live-cell tracking and for experiments requiring spectral separation from commonly used GFP or RFP fusion proteins.
