LysoView™ 594, 1000X in DMSO

Description

This product is a red-fluorescent lysosomal stain formulated for live-cell analysis. LysoView™ 594 is spectrally tuned for detection using standard Texas Red® or similar filter sets, with reported excitation and emission peaks at approximately 585 nm and 634 nm, respectively. The reagent is provided as a 1000X concentrate in DMSO, with a 50 µL fill volume. The concentrated stock solution enhances stability and simplifies experimental workflow, as researchers can dilute a small volume directly into cell culture media. The dye's mechanism involves selective accumulation in acidic organelles, enabling researchers to monitor lysosomal number, size, and distribution in real time. It is a useful tool for studies in cell biology, autophagy, and lysosomal storage disorders, where visualizing these organelles in their native state is critical.
