LysoView™ 550, 1000X in DMSO

Description

LysoView™ 550 is a cell-permeant fluorescent probe designed for selective staining of lysosomes in live-cell imaging applications. It exhibits orange fluorescence and is spectrally compatible with filter sets commonly used for the Cy®3 dye channel. The compound is supplied as a concentrated 1000X stock solution in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), with a total quantity of 50 µL per vial. This high-concentration format allows for economical use, as only a small aliquot is required to prepare working solutions for cell culture staining. The dye's spectral properties, including its specific excitation and emission maxima, make it suitable for multicolor experiments when combined with other organelle-specific probes emitting in different spectral regions. Its accumulation within acidic lysosomal compartments facilitates the visualization of lysosome morphology and dynamics without requiring cell fixation.
