LECO's LV-Series comprises macro-Vickers hardness testing systems designed for material testing applications. These systems accommodate a test force measurement range from 0.3 kgf to 50 kgf, suitable for creating macro-Vickers indentations. The product line includes various configurations such as analog, digital, manual, semi-automatic, and automatic models with video or image analysis capabilities. Key mechanical features often include a dual leafspring indenter support system for alignment and repeatability, a turret capable of holding multiple objectives (typically from 2.5X to 100X magnification), and a precision measuring reticle.
