Description
The Luminex xMAP INTELLIFLEX System is a multiplex bead reader designed for high-throughput analysis. It utilizes a combination of lasers, avalanche photodiodes (APDs), and photomultiplier tubes (PMTs) in its optical system to detect multiple analytes simultaneously from a single sample. The system is configured to handle up to 500 distinct assays per run. It features an integrated computer with a touchscreen interface for operation and has a compact design to conserve bench space. Automated routines for startup, shutdown, and maintenance are included to simplify workflow. The reader supports both 96- and 384-well microplate formats for flexible experimental design. Two primary configurations are available: the standard INTELLIFLEX System and the INTELLIFLEX DR-SE System, which incorporates an additional laser and a second reporter detection channel for expanded multiplexing capabilities. This platform is validated for use with Thermo Fisher Scientific's Invitrogen ProcartaPlex multiplex immunoassays and Invitrogen QuantiGene Plex multiplex gene expression assays.
