Description

The Luminex 200 system is a flow-based analyzer intended for Research Use Only (RUO). It is designed to perform multiplex bioassays, enabling the simultaneous quantification of multiple proteins or nucleic acids from a single sample. The system utilizes xMAP technology, where color-coded magnetic or polystyrene microspheres are used as the solid phase for assays. Each bead set can be conjugated with a different capture molecule, allowing for the detection of numerous analytes in one well. The included xPONENT 4.3 software provides the interface for instrument control, data acquisition, and analysis, streamlining the workflow for multiplex experimentation.
