LCMS-9050 Q-TOF Mass Spectrometer
Manufacturer: Shimadzu
SKU: LCMS-9050
Description
The Shimadzu LCMS-9050 is a quadrupole time-of-flight (Q-TOF) mass spectrometer that builds upon the LCMS-9030 platform. It incorporates newly developed UFstabilization technology, which is designed to maintain high mass accuracy during rapid simultaneous analysis in both positive and negative ion modes. This feature aims to reduce the stabilization time required between analyses of different polarities, thereby improving analytical throughput. The system includes a high-precision temperature control system intended to inhibit mass variations caused by external factors, promoting stable long-term mass accuracy. Polarity switching is facilitated by proprietary electrical circuitry and the UFstabilization algorithm. The instrument supports fast data acquisition rates and is noted for requiring only small sample amounts for the identification of unknown compounds. An auto-tuning function uses a standard sample to automatically correct parameters such as mass accuracy, resolution, and sensitivity. Maintenance procedures are designed for convenience, allowing components like the desolvation line and ESI capillary to be replaced without breaking the instrument's vacuum, which helps minimize operational downtime. Data management and processing for the LCMS-9050 are handled by LabSolutions Insight Explore™ software. This application enables tasks such as library searching, structural analysis, composition estimation, multivalent ion analysis, and quantitative analysis of target compounds. The software organizes analysis results into a consolidated, readable display.
