LCMS-9030 Q-TOF Mass Spectrometer
Manufacturer: Shimadzu
SKU: LCMS-9030
Description
The Shimadzu LCMS-9030 is a quadrupole time-of-flight (Q-TOF) mass spectrometer that combines a quadrupole mass filter with a time-of-flight mass analyzer for high-resolution accurate mass measurements. This configuration supports both qualitative identification and quantitative analysis. The system is compatible with multiple ionization techniques, including standard electrospray ionization (ESI), with optional atmospheric pressure chemical ionization (APCI) and a Dual Ion Source (DUIS) that combines ESI and APCI capabilities. A Micro-ESI interface is also available for microflow analysis. Instrument performance is characterized by high mass accuracy and sensitivity, facilitated by high-efficiency ion guides, the quadrupole, and the collision cell. The platform is designed for reproducible quantitative analysis over extended periods and requires infrequent mass calibration. The time-of-flight analyzer incorporates an architecture intended for precise, rapid ion pulsing into the flight tube and efficient reflection to the detector, enabling high-speed data acquisition suitable for high-throughput laboratories. System operation and data handling are managed through the LabSolutions LCMS software, which serves as a single control point for both UHPLC and the Q-TOF mass spectrometer. The software supports various acquisition modes that utilize the instrument's capabilities, including full-scan MS, selected ion monitoring (SIM), tandem MS (MS/MS), multiple reaction monitoring (MRM), and data-dependent acquisition (DDA) MS/MS.
