Description

The Shimadzu LCMS-8060RX is a triple quadrupole LC/MS/MS mass spectrometer engineered for high-speed and high-sensitivity quantitative analysis. Its mass analyzer configuration features molybdenum hyperbolic mass filters for quadrupoles Q1 and Q3, with Q1 also including post-rods. The instrument operates over a mass range of m/z 2 to 2,000. It achieves a maximum scanning speed of 30,000 atomic mass units per second across all scan modes, which corresponds to a data acquisition rate of 300,000 data points per second at a 0.1 u step. Polarity switching is completed within 5 milliseconds. For ionization, the system employs a heat-assisted electrospray probe alongside options for APCI, dual ionization, and micro-ESI.
