LC-40B XR HPLC/UHPLC Pump

Description

This binary solvent delivery unit, the LC-40B XR, is a parallel-type double-plunger pump suitable for both HPLC and UHPLC applications. It supports a maximum pressure of 70 MPa and offers flow rates from 0.1 µL/min to 10 mL/min. The pump can perform either high-pressure or quaternary low-pressure gradient formations within a single, space-saving enclosure. It incorporates FlowPilot technology for gentle flow ramping and column temperature synchronization to minimize pressure shocks. Automated diagnostic functions monitor system pressure and can restore normal operation after detecting anomalies. The unit includes a rinse kit to clean behind seals when using buffered mobile phases and allows users to set solvent compressibility to reduce pulsation. Operation and monitoring are supported through a front panel keypad, web browser, or compatible chromatography software. An external valve option is available to supply two distinct solvents to each pump.
