Description
The LC-40B X3 is a parallel-type double-plunger pump capable of ultra-high-pressure liquid chromatography, with a maximum pressure rating of 130 MPa. It provides a flow rate range from 0.1 µL/min to 10 mL/min. Its compact design houses a true binary solvent delivery system, where two solvents are managed within a single unit without internal flow channel intersections. Features include a built-in peristaltic pump for seal washing to prevent salt buildup from buffered mobile phases, and FlowPilot technology that gradually ramps flow to protect columns from pressure shock. The pump offers diagnostic monitoring, logs operational data, and allows users to adjust solvent compressibility settings. Control is possible via the front panel keypad, a web browser, or chromatography software. An optional external valve enables the supply of two different solvents to each pump channel.
