Description
Shimadzu's LC-40 is a modular HPLC system built for routine analytical separations. It supports a maximum operating pressure of 44 MPa and offers a flexible flow rate range: from 0.0001 to 5 mL/min at full pressure, and from 5 to 10 mL/min at a reduced maximum of 22 MPa. The system is compatible with various detection technologies, including UV, PDA, ELSD, fluorescence, RID, and conductivity. It features fast injection cycles with minimal carryover and provides stable baselines. Analytical Intelligence functions facilitate instrument monitoring, automated diagnostics, and mobile phase monitoring, which can be accessed via a touch-panel interface or remotely through a web browser. Additional software tools assist with peak detection and deconvolution in complex chromatograms. The system is designed for use with both traditional fully porous and modern superficially porous particle columns.
