The Lactate Scout Vet is a portable analyzer for measuring blood lactate levels in animals at the point of care. Developed by EKF Diagnostics, this device provides rapid results to support clinical decisions in veterinary medicine. It requires only a minimal 0.2 microliter sample of capillary or whole blood, delivering a measurement within the range of 0.5 to 25 mmol/L in approximately 10 seconds. The analyzer features a user interface with dedicated buttons for selecting the animal species, including Feline, Canine, Porcine, Ovine, Bovine, and Equine. Its e-paper display ensures clear readability under various lighting conditions.
