Description
The LabGard ES AIR Limited NU-545 is a Class II, Type A2 biosafety cabinet designed for animal use applications. This unit provides a contained workspace that protects the operator, the product, and the laboratory environment from exposure to biological agents. It maintains a consistent inward airflow at a rate of 105 feet per minute (0.53 meters per second) across the work opening. The interior work area measures 34 3/8 inches wide by 25 3/4 inches deep by 28 1/2 inches high (873 x 654 x 724 mm). As a Type A2 cabinet, it recirculates a portion of the HEPA-filtered air back into the workspace while exhausting the remainder through another HEPA filter back into the room or to an external connection. This model is part of NuAire's Energy Saver (ES) line, which incorporates design features aimed at reducing operational energy consumption.
