Description

This Labculture model (catalog number LA2-S9-G4) is a Class II, Type A2 biological safety cabinet manufactured by Esco Technologies. It is designed to recirculate a portion of the HEPA/ULPA-filtered air back into the work zone while exhausting the remainder, providing protection for the user, the product, and the environment. The cabinet operates with an air inflow velocity of 105 feet per minute (0.53 m/s) and a downflow velocity of 70 fpm (0.35 m/s). It utilizes an energy-efficient DC-ECM blower system and is equipped with an ULPA filter for particulate containment. The interior features an antimicrobial coating and is constructed with a one-piece wall that has curved corners for easier decontamination. A raised armrest is included for operator comfort. The cabinet is available in several standard widths, with exterior dimensions varying by model.
