The La Petite Glove Box from Plas-Labs offers a streamlined and ergonomic containment solution in a compact footprint. Engineered for user comfort and operational simplicity, its primary design consists of just two main sections: a seamless, optically clear upper chamber and a durable white lower base. These components form a reliable seal using a specialized gel technology adapted from cleanroom applications. Constructed for practicality, the one-piece unbreakable top provides excellent visibility, while the high-temperature Noryl base features smooth, rounded corners for straightforward cleaning. The system incorporates four ground key-cock valves for controlled purging and gas introduction, complemented by an adjustable relative humidity gauge. A secure, large access door facilitates the movement of materials, and an integrated "Weathertite" duplex electrical outlet includes protective safety covers. For sample transfer, the unit includes a transparent, vacuum-capable chamber with its own gauge, alongside a white leveling plate to assist with liquid handling. All stainless steel clamps are adjustable and feature locking mechanisms for a secure seal. The glove box is compatible with either 7-inch latex or neoprene gloves. Designed to be lightweight and mobile, it is well-suited for environments where equipment needs to be relocated between workspaces.
