Knife Mill Grindomix GM 200

Manufacturer: Verder Scientific

SKU: GM 200

Description

The GRINDOMIX GM 200 knife mill from Verder Scientific is engineered for the rapid and reproducible size reduction and homogenization of a wide range of sample materials. It is capable of processing volumes up to 1 liter, making it suitable for foodstuff analysis and other laboratory preparations. This mill operates with a robust 1 kW drive motor and utilizes two sharp blades to efficiently homogenize substances with high moisture, oil, or fat content. It is equally effective for processing dry, soft, and medium-hard products. A key functional feature is its ability to perform both pre-grinding and fine-grinding in a single unit; the standard rotation mode provides a cutting action, while a reverse mode employs an impact grinding mechanism. Speed is fully adjustable from 2,000 to 10,000 rpm, allowing precise adaptation to specific material requirements. For enhanced sample integrity, all components contacting the sample are autoclavable. An optional CryoKit facilitates the grinding of embrittled or deeply frozen materials. Additional accessories include a gravity lid for automatically reducing the grinding chamber volume during processing. The unit offers programmable operation with storage for eight standard operating procedures and four grinding sequences. Grinding jars are available in plastic or stainless steel to suit different application needs.
