Description

The KingFisher Duo Prime Purification System is a magnetic particle processor designed for automated nucleic acid purification. This compact benchtop instrument facilitates the isolation of DNA and RNA using magnetic bead technology. It is equipped with two interchangeable magnet heads, allowing for processing flexibility. The 12-pin head can handle up to 12 samples per run, while the 6-pin head accommodates up to 6 samples. The system automates the steps of binding, washing, and elution to yield purified nucleic acids suitable for downstream applications. With external dimensions of 40 cm in width, 46 cm in depth, and 35 cm in height, it offers a relatively small footprint for laboratory workstations.
