Description

The JII-29080DMS is a vacuum preparation station designed for storing and conditioning transmission electron microscope sample holders. Its primary function is to maintain holders under a clean, dry vacuum to prevent surface contamination from atmospheric gases and moisture prior to insertion into the TEM. The system features a main pumping unit with approximate dimensions of 410 mm wide by 370 mm deep by 410 mm high and a weight of about 20 kg. It employs a two-stage, oil-free pumping system consisting of a turbomolecular pump (TMP) and a dry diaphragm pump. This combination achieves an ultimate pressure of 5x10^-4 Pa. The TMP offers a pumping speed of approximately 67 L/sec for nitrogen, while the auxiliary dry pump operates at about 20 L/min. The station can accommodate up to five TEM holders simultaneously. Operational status for evacuation (EVAC) and venting (VENT) is indicated by LED lights for clear user feedback. The unit requires a single-phase 100V AC power supply at 50/60 Hz, with a power consumption of 0.6 kVA.
