JES-X330 Electron Spin Resonance Spectrometer
Manufacturer: JEOL USA, Inc.
SKU: JES-X330
Description
The JES-X330 electron spin resonance spectrometer is a benchtop instrument configured for high-sensitivity ESR measurements. It features a specified sensitivity of 5 x 10^9 spins per 10^-4 Tesla at 100 kHz modulation. The system is built around a large-bore electromagnet, providing a magnetic field with a homogeneity of 5 x 10^-6 across a 36 cm diameter. This design is suitable for experiments requiring a wide, uniform field area. Similar to other models in the series, it uses a cylindrical TE011 cavity resonator to enhance sensitivity and modulation characteristics for various sample types. Field control is achieved via a linear sweep circuit that relies on a Hall probe for accurate detection and feedback. The spectrometer is operated through a dedicated Windows software platform, offering an interface for system control, data acquisition, and automated functions like microwave frequency tuning. It is equipped with a low-noise, solid-state Gunn diode microwave source, engineered for long-term stability and a lifespan typically over 20,000 hours. The instrument also supports programmable sequential measurements with customizable parameters.
