Description

The JEM-120i is a 120 kV transmission electron microscope engineered with an emphasis on compact design, user-friendly operation, and system expandability. It is well-suited for applications in biological and polymer sciences where lower accelerating voltages are advantageous for imaging soft materials. The instrument offers two primary configurations: a high-contrast mode providing a point resolution of 0.2 nm and a high-resolution mode achieving 0.14 nm. The accelerating voltage is adjustable from 20 to 120 kV. Magnification ranges from 50x to 1,200,000x in the high-contrast configuration and extends to 1,500,000x in the high-resolution configuration. Its design facilitates straightforward operation and maintenance, making it accessible for a broad range of users while retaining the capability for future hardware and software upgrades.
