Description

The BB250 is a laboratory jaw crusher from Verder Scientific designed for the coarse crushing of solid materials. It accommodates large feed sizes up to 120 x 90 mm. The gap between the crushing jaws can be adjusted continuously from 0 to 30 mm, allowing control over the final particle size, which can be reduced down to 2 mm. This yields a high crushing ratio of 45. The unit is capable of processing up to 300 kg of material per hour. To facilitate cleaning, the crusher features a front-opening door. The crushing chamber is offered in six different material options to prevent sample contamination and ensure analysis-neutral preparation. A collecting vessel with an outlet enables continuous operation, and a cyclone attachment is available for dust-free processing. Various hopper types can be fitted to suit different sample formats.
