Description

The Jaw Crusher BB 51, manufactured by Verder Scientific, is a laboratory mill designed for the rapid pre-crushing of sample materials. It handles medium-hard, hard, brittle, and tough substances, applying a pressure-based crushing principle. Suitable for a broad spectrum of materials such as alloys, bones, cement clinker, ceramics, coal, feldspar, granite, ores, and slag, it is a compact unit with dimensions of 360 mm wide by 510 mm high by 580 mm deep. The crusher is engineered for bench-top use, featuring a dust-tight housing to maintain a clean workspace. To avoid sample contamination, the grinding chamber is available with ceramic linings. Operational features include a digital gap width display and a zero-point adjustment mechanism to compensate for wear on the crushing jaws, promoting consistent and reproducible sample preparation. It is powered by a 1.1 kW industrial drive motor.
