Description
Rudolph Research Analytical's J47 series refractometers are built for robust, high-volume use in environments like food and beverage quality control, where they function as essential tools rather than delicate laboratory instruments. Operation is streamlined to a one-button measurement process. Available in standard and wide-range (WR) configurations, the instruments cover different refractive index spans: the standard J47 measures from 1.32 to 1.53 RI, while the J47 WR extends from 1.30 to 1.70 RI. The temperature range is 4°C to 95°C. Resolution is model-dependent, offered at either ±0.00001 RI (±0.01 BRIX) or ±0.0001 RI (±0.1 BRIX). Key features include temperature correction based on ICUMSA or custom tables, user calibration with one or two points, and a durable sapphire prism designed to withstand frequent use.
