Description

Polymer Char's IVA Versa is an automated intrinsic viscosity analyzer designed for polymers that can be analyzed at ambient or moderately elevated temperatures, typically between 20°C and 45°C. Its key feature is versatility, enabling the measurement of intrinsic viscosity for a diverse array of polymers, including polyolefins, PET, PAN, and PMMA, with values ranging from 0.5 dL/g to over 40 dL/g. This flexibility is achieved through interchangeable capillaries and pressure transducers within a single hardware platform. The instrument supports various sample preparation methods to suit different laboratory workflows. As a fully automated system, it eliminates user contact with solvents during the dissolution, analysis, and self-cleaning cycles, promoting safety and ensuring reproducible results. It is compatible with most common organic solvents, such as decalin, chloroform, and tetrahydrofuran.
