IRSpirit-X FTIR Spectrophotometers

Description

Shimadzu's IRSpirit-X series represents a compact line of Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectrophotometers. The series includes three models: the IRSpirit-LX as an entry-level instrument, the high-sensitivity IRSpirit-TX, and the moisture-resistant IRSpirit-ZX. A key characteristic is their small footprint, measuring 390 mm wide by 250 mm deep and weighing 8.5 kg. The optical system is sealed within an aluminum housing, with beam splitter options including a humidity-coated KBr unit for the LX and TX models, or a ZnSe unit for the ZX model. The instruments cover a spectral range from 350 to 7800 cm⁻¹. Operational guidance is provided by the built-in IR Pilot analysis navigation software, which features application macros and a spectrum advisor function to assist users in obtaining quality data. The systems are compatible with LabSolutions IR software for network-based data management and can be integrated with other Shimadzu instruments, such as EDXRF spectrometers, for combined analysis.
