IOR Iron Ore Reducibility Furnace
Manufacturer: Verder Scientific
SKU: IOR
Description
The IOR Iron Ore Reducibility Furnace is a vertical tube furnace designed for analyzing the reduction behavior of iron ore and related materials. It features three independently controlled heating zones, enabling precise isothermal conditions across the sample. This configuration allows for the concurrent testing of up to three samples according to six established international standards. The system is equipped with a comprehensive gas safety system and integrated data logging capabilities. These record critical parameters including the temperature of each furnace zone, the temperature of the sample itself, and the sample's weight change over time. The furnace supports operation in multiple atmospheres, including inert environments using nitrogen or carbon dioxide, as well as reducing conditions with hydrogen, with a maximum operating temperature of 1100°C. It is utilized in applications such as coal and coke testing, as well as iron ore and steel production research.
