Description
The Qubit 4 Fluorometer is a benchtop instrument for the specific quantification of nucleic acids and proteins. It utilizes fluorescent dye-based assays to provide highly accurate concentration measurements for DNA, RNA, microRNA, and protein samples. The device features a touchscreen interface for straightforward operation, delivering results in under five seconds per sample. It is equipped with excitation filters for blue (430–495 nm) and red (600–645 nm) light, and corresponding emission filters for green (510–580 nm) and red (665–720 nm) detection. A key feature is its integrated WiFi connectivity, which facilitates data export to the Thermo Fisher Cloud. Data can also be transferred via USB and saved in CSV or PDF formats. When used with the optional Qubit RNA IQ assay, the instrument can assess RNA integrity and quality in a two-step procedure.
