Description

This assay kit is designed for the multiplexed analysis of proteins within the human Akt signaling pathway. It allows for the concurrent measurement of 16 distinct parameters from a single sample well, quantifying eight total proteins alongside their corresponding eight phosphorylated forms. This is achieved through a dual-reporter methodology that employs two separate detector antibodies, each conjugated to a different fluorescent dye. The assay requires the use of an xMAP INTELLIFLEX DR-SE instrument, as it utilizes the system's dual-reporter capability and an additional violet laser for detection. The panel is supplied in a pre-configured, ready-to-use format with capture and detection reagents pre-diluted to a 1X concentration, which minimizes pipetting steps and simplifies assay setup. All components within the panel undergo validation testing for combinability, interference, and cross-reactivity to ensure analytical precision.
