Invitrogen™iBlot™ 3 Western Blot Transfer Device

Manufacturer: Thermo Fisher Scientific

SKU: IB31001

Description

The Invitrogen iBlot 3 is a Western blot transfer device that utilizes dry blotting technology. It is designed as a self-contained system with an integrated power supply and employs pre-packaged, ready-to-use transfer stacks. This setup is intended to simplify the protein transfer process, reducing the hands-on time and cleanup associated with traditional wet-tank methods. The device can complete transfers in approximately 3 to 10 minutes. It features two independent transfer stations, allowing two users to run transfers simultaneously, potentially under different conditions. The iBlot 3 is compatible with mini- or midi-sized gels, including Bis-Tris, Tricine, Tris-Acetate, and Tris-Glycine formats. It can be used with nitrocellulose or PVDF membranes.
