The Innova 5000 is a multi-tier open air shaker engineered for high-volume, continuous operation in demanding environments such as environmental chambers. It features a cantilevered platform design with up to six accessory levels, providing unobstructed access to hundreds of samples simultaneously. The unit employs a 5.1 cm (2 inch) orbital motion, with a speed range adjustable from 25 to 350 rpm. A key design focus is operational stability; advanced load balancing and a substantial cast-iron base minimize vibration, allowing the shaker to function without being bolted to the floor, even at maximum capacity and speed. The control module is detachable and can be mounted on the base, on a wall, or remotely up to 30.5 meters away via a fiber-optic link, eliminating electrical interference. The system accommodates a range of flask sizes, from 10 mL to 6 L, distributed across its tiers. Engineered for durability with minimal maintenance, it utilizes a cool-running, brushless motor to prevent heat transfer to sensitive samples and maintains consistent speed despite voltage fluctuations.
