Description

This configuration of the Innova 42 features a larger, 1.00-inch orbital shaking diameter. The increased throw can provide more vigorous mixing and higher oxygen transfer rates, which may be beneficial for dense cultures or specific fermentation protocols. It shares the flexible placement design of the series, being usable on, under, or beside a bench, and is stackable. The temperature is controllable from slightly above ambient up to 80°C. Agitation speed is precisely adjustable from 25 to 400 RPM, with an accuracy of +/- 1 RPM. The platform holds the same high capacity as other models, supporting up to 109 small flasks or a pair of 6-liter vessels. Selecting the 1-inch orbit model is typically based on the specific aeration and mixing demands of the protocol.
