This model, the Innova 40R, integrates refrigeration directly into a high-temperature benchtop incubator shaker. It provides both heating and active cooling, allowing processes to be run below ambient temperature. The shaking mechanism operates across a range from 25 to 500 RPM, with the top speed varying by specific model. The flask capacity is versatile, supporting vessels from 10 mL up to 2 L Erlenmeyer flasks, and it can also accommodate larger containers such as four 2.8 L Fernbach flasks. By combining heating, cooling, and agitation in a single compact unit, it is suitable for applications like protein expression, cell culture, and solubility studies where precise temperature control during shaking is critical.
