Incucyte® CX3 Live-Cell Analysis System

Description

Sartorius Group's Incucyte CX3 system is a live-cell imaging platform designed for non-invasive, long-term observation of two-dimensional and three-dimensional cell models. It integrates multiple imaging modalities, including spinning disk confocal, widefield fluorescence, high-definition phase contrast, and brightfield. The instrument is equipped with an automated turret housing 4x, 10x, and 20x objective lenses. It supports multiplexed fluorescence detection across three channels (green, orange, and near-infrared). A key operational feature is its capacity for parallel processing, facilitated by interchangeable vessel trays that can hold up to six standard microplates simultaneously within a controlled environmental chamber. This setup allows for continuous kinetic data collection from assays monitoring cell proliferation, morphology, spheroid growth, and other phenotypic changes without disturbing the cultures. The associated software provides tools for image acquisition and quantitative analysis.
