Description
The NuAire NU-5841 In-VitroCell ES is a direct heat CO2 incubator engineered for hypoxic cell culture applications. It provides a controlled environment suitable for growing tissue cultures and preserving sensitive biological materials like embryos and gametes. A key feature is its dual sterilization capability, offering a 95°C humidified decontamination cycle and a 145°C dry heat cycle to help prevent contamination. Precise environmental control is maintained through a dual-wave infrared sensor for CO2, a relative humidity control system to prevent desiccation, and a zirconia ceramic oxygen sensor capable of regulating O2 levels from 0.5% to 21%. The unit has a 200-liter (7 cubic foot) chamber with a fully coved, stainless steel interior. Standard equipment includes four stainless steel shelves, eight shelf guides, and a water pan. Control is managed via the NuTouch electronic system, which offers remote alarm outputs, RS-485 communication, a USB port, and 4-20 mA analog outputs. An optional CuVerro antimicrobial copper interior surface is available to inhibit bacterial growth within the chamber. The incubator operates within a temperature range of 5°C to 55°C.
