IMI-PSI High Pressure Manometric Sorption Analyzer
Manufacturer: Hiden Isochema
SKU: IMI-PSI
Description
The IMI-PSI is a manometric sorption analyzer capable of operating from sub-atmospheric pressures up to 200 bar. It is used for determining gas adsorption isotherms and specific surface area via BET analysis on nanoporous materials, including those relevant for hydrogen or methane storage and separation. The temperature operating range is 77 K to 773 K. The instrument's design aims for high measurement accuracy across both low and high-pressure regimes. It features a modular construction that allows for upgrades and can be equipped with liquid coolant thermostats, such as liquid nitrogen, for low-temperature experiments. Automated software controls enable pre-programmed sample pretreatment and gas switching routines for streamlined operation.
