Description
The IMI-HTP analyzer is configured for characterizing materials intended for hydrogen storage. It operates on the Sieverts (volumetric) method and can perform measurements at pressures up to 200 bar and temperatures from ambient conditions up to 500 degrees Celsius. Its design focuses on accuracy for Pressure-Composition-Temperature (PCT) measurements and studies of kinetics and thermodynamics, applicable to metal hydrides and nanoporous materials. Features include a minimized internal dead volume, an all-metal construction, and integrated safety systems for high-pressure hydrogen operation. While specialized for hydrogen, the instrument can also be used with other gases like nitrogen, methane, and carbon dioxide. Options for liquid nitrogen cooling enable low-temperature physisorption studies.
