Description
The IMI-FLOW analyzer measures gas sorption using a manometric technique, with the added capability for flowing gas mode operation. It can determine adsorption isotherms at pressures up to 200 bar and across a temperature range from 77 Kelvin to 773 Kelvin. Applications include studying materials for gas storage, separation processes, and thermodynamic or kinetic analysis of nanoporous substances like carbons, zeolites, MOFs, and polymers. The system can switch automatically between static manometric measurements and dynamic flowing gas experiments, where pressure, composition, and flow rate are controlled. Integration with mass spectrometers allows for downstream gas analysis, supporting techniques such as temperature-programmed desorption.
