Description
The ImageXpress Confocal HT.ai is a high-throughput, high-content imaging system that integrates confocal microscopy with advanced analysis software. It utilizes a seven-channel laser light source and supports eight imaging channels, enabling highly multiplexed assays. The laser excitation provides high brightness and allows for shortened exposure times, contributing to a throughput capability of over 200,000 wells per day. The system accommodates various plate formats, including 1536-well plates. It offers a selection of air, oil, and water immersion objectives, with the water immersion objectives specifically designed to improve image resolution and reduce optical aberrations for deeper imaging into thick samples like spheroids and organoids. The camera provides a field of view of 1.96 mm² at 10x magnification. Data acquisition and analysis are managed through the MetaXpress and IN Carta software suites. These platforms offer machine learning tools for phenotypic classification and 3D image analysis, along with features like trainable segmentation (SINAP) and classification (Phenoglyphs). The PowerCore software option enables parallel processing to significantly accelerate analysis speeds.
