IGAsorp- XT Automated Water Sorption Analyzer

Description

The IGAsorp-XT is an automated analyzer specialized for water sorption measurements at conditions beyond the scope of standard DVS instruments. It is capable of recording high-resolution sorption isotherms at temperatures from 5 °C up to 300 °C. A distinctive feature is its ability to control and measure at very low humidity levels, starting from 0.2% relative humidity at 50 °C. The system incorporates an integrated pre-heater that can be used for sample drying or thermal desorption procedures up to 350 °C, with safety features for loading samples at elevated temperatures. Designed for extended, unattended operation, it includes an automated external water reservoir. The instrument supports fully programmable methods for isothermal, isochoric, and temperature-programmed experiments, making it applicable for research on high-performance materials like polymer membranes, composites, fuel cell components, and advanced sorbents. The maximum sample weight is 5 grams.
