Description
The IGA ECOsorp is a benchtop gravimetric sorption analyzer from Hiden Isochema developed specifically for carbon capture research. It is designed to provide a practical and accessible solution for evaluating the performance of sorbent materials under conditions relevant to Direct Air Capture (DAC) and Point Source Capture (PCC). The instrument uniquely combines high-resolution water vapor sorption measurements with CO2 gas sorption analysis, all under dynamic flow conditions. It can measure CO2 sorption across a wide range of partial pressures, from 100 ppm up to 100% CO2, and operates at temperatures from 5°C to 350°C. The system can accommodate sample weights of up to 5 grams.
