Description

The IGA-1000 Advanced Gravimetric Sorption Analyzer represents a versatile platform from Hiden Isochema that integrates multiple sorption and analysis techniques. It combines high-resolution vapor sorption, mixed gas sorption, and thermogravimetric analysis with mass spectrometry (TGA-MS) capabilities. A multi-inlet flow control system permits experiments with mixed gases, offering combined control over pressure, flow, and gas composition. For vapor studies, it includes built-in anti-condensation protection suitable for temperatures up to 50 °C. The instrument supports a wide operational temperature range from 77 K to 1000 °C and standard pressures up to 10 bar, with an optional 20 bar upgrade. Its broad application set includes gas adsorption capacity determination, moisture sorption, catalyst characterization, and Temperature Programmed Desorption, Oxidation, and Reduction (TPD/TPO/TPR). An optional integrated vapor generator module facilitates dynamic vapor sorption (DVS) measurements, while an optional quadrupole mass spectrometer enables Evolved Gas Analysis (EGA) for identifying species desorbed during thermal treatment.
