The IGA-003-MC from Hiden Isochema is a specialized gravimetric analyzer configured for binary gas mixture sorption studies. It employs the Integral Mass Balance (IMB) analysis technique, which combines controlled delivery of a gas mixture, in-situ mass measurement via a microbalance, and real-time analysis of the outlet gas stream using a mass spectrometer. This integrated approach allows for the measurement of individual component uptake within a gas mixture, enabling the determination of partial adsorption isotherms.
