ID7000™ Spectral Cell Analyzer
Manufacturer: Sony Corporation
Description
The ID7000 Spectral Cell Analyzer from Sony is a high-parameter spectral flow cytometer. It is equipped with seven solid-state excitation lasers covering wavelengths from 320 nm to 808 nm, specifically 320 nm, 355 nm, 405 nm, 488 nm, 561 nm, 637 nm, and 808 nm. Detection is achieved through 32-channel photomultiplier tube (PMT) arrays, and the system can be configured with up to 186 individual detectors to resolve 44 or more fluorescent colors simultaneously from a single sample. This spectral unmixing capability allows for the detailed analysis of complex cellular populations and biomarkers. The analyzer accommodates various sample formats, including standard 5-mL (12 x 75 mm) tubes, as well as 96-well and 384-well microplates when used with an optional autosampler. This flexibility supports applications in immunology, oncology, and drug discovery where high-content, multiparameter analysis is required.
