Description
The HYPERION series from Bruker Optics comprises FT-IR microscopes designed for advanced chemical imaging and microanalysis. Available in models such as the HYPERION 1000, 2000, and 3000, these systems cover a broad spectral range from the far-infrared to the visible region (80 to 25,000 cm⁻¹). A key feature is the integration of both conventional FT-IR and Quantum Cascade Laser-based Infrared Laser Imaging (ILIM) within a single instrument, supporting transmission, reflection, and ATR measurement modes. The HYPERION 3000 model can achieve a spatial resolution down to 1.1 micrometers. Configurable components include a selection of liquid nitrogen-cooled or TE-cooled MCT detectors, focal plane array detectors for infrared imaging, and various objective lenses (including IR, ATR, and VIS). The system also supports numerous accessories for specialized applications, such as macro imaging, sample heating/cooling, and advanced illumination techniques.
