Description

The HVP-50 is a 50-liter top-loading autoclave that incorporates a fully automatic drying function for processed loads. It maintains a compact profile with an upward-opening lid. Operating temperatures span from 105°C to 135°C. A key feature is the integrated vacuum pump, which removes air from the chamber prior to sterilizing solid items like glassware, promoting more efficient heat penetration and eliminating cold spots. The subsequent drying cycle utilizes heat and vacuum for rapid and thorough moisture removal. Safety mechanisms include a lid interlock that prevents opening during active cycles, under pressure, or at high temperatures (above 97°C), along with a door-closure sensor. The unit offers multiple cycle types: a liquid cycle for media and agar, a cycle for wastes and glassware without drying, and the main automatic drying cycle for solids. The internal chamber measures 11.8 inches in diameter by 28 inches in height. Lid operation is via a one-touch lever, and a process display shows the selected program's status and progress.
