Description

This model is a 50-liter capacity, top-loading autoclave from Amerex Instruments. It is engineered for efficient sterilization with a focus on space efficiency, featuring an upward-opening lid design. The working temperature range is 105°C to 135°C. The unit includes specific modes for handling biological media, such as an agar sterilization mode that holds sterilized agar at a liquid state and an agar melting mode for initial liquefaction or a quicker system start. A dual-sensing lid safety interlock prevents access when the chamber is pressurized or when temperatures exceed 97°C. A door-closure sensor provides a prompt and prevents cycle initiation if the lid is not correctly closed. The internal chamber dimensions are 11.8 inches in diameter by 28 inches in height. Users can operate the lid easily via a one-touch lever. Cycle status and progression are monitored through an in-process display.
